While the Moon will leave your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on Monday, in the early hours of the week there is a chance to capture the essence of the planets that are powering up the playful, creative and adventurous side of life’s fence before they leave. The Moon will leave just as Mars moves into his final seven days in a playful and creative part of your chart and just as Mercury moves into his last full week in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery, before leaving next Wednesday. Knowing that this will leave both empty, as the adventurous lunar vibes run their course on Monday and before the holiday period ends, this is something that needs to be captured and embraced. It is then that the Moon will not only join the Sun in your career sector but to begin the lead up to a New Moon that on New Year’s Eve will offer a chance to draw a new line in the sand, both professionally and when it comes to your personal goals and ambitions.

It is less that the stars are sending mixed messages as one year makes way for the next and more that both sides of life’s fence are powered up in a way that is not usually the case at this time of year. The Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of each year in your career sector and the Moon’s return on Monday to begin the lead up to a New Moon on New Year’s Eve will add to the focus this is putting on the adventurous side of life’s fence. However, for the first time in 12 years, you are moving into the New Year with Jupiter in your income sector, with Pluto in your career sector for the first time ever and with the South Node in the final days of an 18 month transit through your work sector that will finish at the end of next week. While the Moon is returning to kick off a New Moon in an adventurous part of your chart, the week begins with a friendly aspect between the South Node and Pluto just peaking while until leaving your career sector on Friday, Venus will be working to get the year off to a positive start across the income, work and career fronts. Helping with that will be the Moon's return on New Year’s Day.

The timing of the Moon’s departure from your relationship sector on Monday could be better, giving you everything needed to capture Mercury, the planet of communication’s last full week here and Mars’ last week in your communication sector. With Mars leaving your communication sector next Monday and Mercury two days later, the Moon’s contact with both as it moved through will leave you emotionally engaged and aware and with everything needed to get and keep the communication lines open. It is then that the Moon will join the Sun in your financial sector to begin the lead up to a New Moon that on New Year’s Eve will bring a chance to draw a new line in the sand. This comes as you not only move into an important week across the communication, social and relationship fronts but with change in the air. Since returning over the weekend the Moon has formed a friendly aspect to Mars, now just seven days away from leaving your friendship sector next Monday and to both planets in your relationship sector. With Chiron, the planet of healing turning direct on Monday, Eris next Saturday and the lunar nodes also ending their 18 month policing of a balance between your own and your relationship needs at the end of next week, the timing couldn’t be better. Meanwhile, while the Sun and Moon are putting the focus on home and family over New Year, by the end of the week there will be signs of new developments across the income, work and career fronts.
